NACOSS Gold Approval
NACOSS the National Approval Council for Security Systems is a division of the National Security Inspectorate (NSI). The NSI is an independent approval body that strictly inspects the work of accredited organisations ensuring their work is consistently of the highest quality and reliability.
NSI NACOSS GOLD recognised firms have achieved a system of quality management to the British and international standard BS EN ISO 9001:2000. The award of the NSI NACOSS GOLD certificate of quality assurance demonstrates all of the relevant criteria have been satisfied
NSI recognition means that partner companies must:
- Install and maintain equipment to relevant standards and NSI Codes of Practice
- Meet financial criteria to prove the company’s financial viability.
- Have been trading for at least two years.
- Require all appropriate personnel to be vetted.
- Have suitable business premises and vehicles.
- Provide relevant employees with appropriate training.
- Provide 24hour emergency cover.
- Have company procedures and protocols assessed.

This is an accreditation scheme that assesses the Health & Safety competency of contractors and service providers.
